The first thing you’ll notice is that this game has two versions, red and blue. You can only catch certain Pokemon on certain versions. This, I think, is a fatal mistake. Gamers don’t get the chance to challenge themselves with new and imaginative pinball courses. Instead, to catch or evolve a Pokemon, you have to get through the same process over and over. This takes the main element of a pinball game away, and hurts it dearly. I’d also like to say that for something meant for kids, it’s sure way to long. On the plus side, it’s very brightly colored and quickly paced. Also, considering just how bright it is, it is very sharp and well defined. This is probably the only part of the game that shines.

All in all, the only reasons you’ll want this is if you’re an avid Pokemon game collector, or if you just like pinball.
