Story

We all remember the original Mario Kart, one of the first attempts of a full 3D graphic game. It was good for it\rquote s time, but we needed something newer and better as the times and the opinions of a good game changed. So, what happened? The new version came out - Mario Kart 64.

Overview

It had the elements for a good game. It had single- and multi-player modes. The game itself was geared more toward the multiplayer though. It had most of the original characters and some new ones. Nothing really changed about the game itself. The levels were pretty much the same as was the gameplay. The levels were just redone and made more challenging in the new one. In the single player mode, all you could really do is race against the computer. But in the multiplayer version, you had the choice of playing racing, vs., or battle mode. The most fun of the choices in my opinion was the battle mode. I felt that they should have added more than 4 levels, and more weapons though. After a while the levels seem a little redundant. The music could have been worked on a little more I felt. But all in all, I felt that the game serves the community as a wonderful multiplayer game. For a total score from 1-10, 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, I would rate this game as a 9.6 multiplayer and 8.0 for single player. That is my review and I hope you enjoy this truly marvelous game.
