Plot

Well, it seems mario and company have built a new world for people to enjoy. But they had a squable as to what to name it. As they were arguing, bowser appeared and invaded the new world. The gang decided to put away their differences and defeat bowser..... then argue some more.:)

Overview

Sound and music:
The sound, if a little childish, is clear as a bell, and mostly cheerful. It has some voice, but I was mostly amuzed by DK's various grunts. The music had a distinctive tune, yet it blended in perfect with the rest of the game.

Gameplay: While the game relies mostly on luck, even if you're having an off day, if you can manage to win most of the mini-games, you should win. I like the fact that things can be turned around imediatly. You can be in a commanding lead, and one wrong move can send you to 4th. If there is one drawback, it's that the game has little or no zip when you play it alone. Like the name suggests, you almost always want to play this game in a get-together or party.

Control: Sometimes it can be challenging making the right button combo for a move or something during a mini-game, but if you practice, you'll get it eventually.

Overall: It has nice graphics, sound and gamplay, but it takes a friend to put it together. It gets stail with out someone to argue with while you play. Overall, I give it a 7.0.
