After saving the Mushroom Kingdom from Bowser and the rest of the Koopas in Super Mario 3, Mario and Luigi needed to ret some R and R (rest and relaxation). Together they agreed that the best place to vacation was a magical place called Dinosaur Land. But while Mario and Luigi reclined on the beach for a relaxing nap, Princess Toadstool disappeared, apparently seized by evil forces. After searching for hours for their missing friend, Mario and Luigi cam upon an enormous egg in the forest. Suddenly the egg hatched, and out popped a young dinosaur named Yoshi, who proceeded to tell Mario and Luigi a sad tale of monstrous turtles. "Monstrous turtles!" exclaimed Luigi, "Bowser and his bunch have returned!" Mario nodded his head in agreement and, along with help from Luigi, Yoshi, and his new magic cape ability, Mario set out to rescue the Princess and rescue Yoshi's friends.

Again Nintendo beats the competition, releasing yet another game in the Mario series, Super Mario World. Graphics and gameplay were greatly improved with the new 16-bit system the Super Nintendo. This was the first game developed for the Super Nintendo, come to think of it the first game developed for every system was in the Mario series. The goal in this Mario game is to, using Yoshi, your new flying cape, the fire flower, and the old mushroom, defeat Bowser and rescue yoshi's friends. Yoshi is a very cute creature and is a great ally in this game. Mario and Luigi both are able to ride Yoshi, kind of like a horse. Yoshi is helpful in many ways, one of those things is that he can eat enemies and spit them back out at other enemies.

Yoshi is very fun to ride. He can run walk and, if you have a cape can glide with Mario.
